Employment Pass

1. Employment Pass (EP)/ Work Permit/ Work Visa in Malaysia

Does your company and foreign employee eligible for the EP in Malaysia?
Check below criteria now before you begin your application:

  • Foreign Expatriate MUST have confirmed employer in Malaysia before apply EP
  • Employer/Company MUST be the sponsor company for the whole application
  • Fully local /JV /fully foreign owned company (Sdn Bhd/Bhd) must fulfil minimum PAID UP CAPITAL subject to nature of business
  • Provide JUSTIFICATION for the needs of hiring expatriate to work in Malaysia
  • Minimum salary offer by employer to expatriate is RM5,000.00 per month and subject to personal income tax yearly basis (LHDN/IRB)

 

Dependent Pass (DP) under main applicant (EP holder)

  • For EP holder intend to bring along with their spouse and children to stay together in Malaysia
  • DP is NOT allow to work in Malaysia. For employment purpose, have to apply EP. The dependent has to cancel the current dependent pass and apply a new employment pass

2. PROFESSIONAL VISIT PASS / TRAINING PASS (PVP)

  • If company in Malaysia (must be a registered ESD company) intend to invite/request foreign expertise from HQ/supplier to provide training or technical support for certain project
  • It is a short-term pass to be granted from 1 month to a maximum of  1 year.
  • Candidate is NOT allow to receive any salary in Malaysia
  • DO NOT allow to bring dependent

3. MALAYSIA PREMIUM VISA (PVIP)

    RM 200,000 (Main Applicant); RM 100,000 (Each Dependent)

    FIXED DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT
    RM 1,000,000

    WITHDRAWAL OF FIXED DEPOSIT
    50% after a period of one year based on property purchase, medical expenses or children’s education

    FAMILY DEPENDENTS
    Spouse,    unmarried     children     below   age    21,   parents, parents-in-law, and a domestic helper,

    PROCESSING TIME
    3 – 6 months to obtain Malaysia Premium Visa Approval

4. RP-T  Resident-Pass (TALENT)

Requirements:

  • Has worked in Malaysia under the Employment Pass for a minimum of three (3) consecutive years at the time of application.
  • Holds a valid Employment Pass with more than 3 months validity during the submission/resubmission of the application.
  • Earns a basic monthly salary of RM15,000 which excludes any allowances and/or bonuses.
  • Has a Malaysian income tax file number and has paid income tax for the most recent 2 years (minimum) at the time of application. Yearly basic salary declared should align with the minimum basic monthly income (at least RM180,000 per annum).
  • Holds a PhD/Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline from a recognised university or a professional/competency certificate from a recognised professional institute.
  • Possesses at least 5 years of total work experience
